Historic corsets or “period corsets” are made by Period
Corsets of Seattle, Washington — a company dedicated
to building corsets with an accurate historical
silhouette but functional and alterable!
Our historic corsets have been built specifically
for us by Period Corsets of Seattle using
their winning recipe and FarthingalesLA.com
quality ingredients… resulting
in “corsets to die for”… better
than chocolate, or Maker’s Mark! The historic corsets are available
for various time periods; 1660, 1770, 1860 & 1890 in three
qualities: Royals, Aristocrats and Citizens – a corset for every
budget and there are five size ranges. So
if you need a corset and prefer to focus
on making the more exciting and inspiring
outwear consider one of these, there is likely
one to fit both your body and your budget!
Working in Theater and need corsets – consider
buying these, even the expensive ones are
cheaper and more time effective than having
them built in-house and your staff can focus
on what will be seen by the audience. These
do tend to be more expensive than our fashion
corsets, but are period accurate and made
with top quality materials.

In-store shopping for all ready-made corsets is strongly recommended
due to strict return policies, the challenges of “off the rack
fit” and the impossibility of color presentation on-line.
