The
Farthingales L.A. corset shop in Santa Monica has
a very reasonably sized classroom/studio space.
This space is used for our classes and is also available
for rent. If you have a costume or corset related
group that needs a meeting place consider our 18
foot by 27 foot room with easy access to the Santa
Monica Freeway and plenty of public parking. Pick
up snacks from Trader Joes just around the corner.
Due to class schedules please plan ahead and try and be somewhat
flexible.
The room has 6 - 6ft long folding tables with 12 chairs and
a large cutting table. The folding
tables can be removed and 12 chairs added for lectures
seating 24 people. The large
cutting table cannot be removed but
can be moved.
This space will also occasionally be available for rent as
temporary studio space to groups of two to six. Large cutting
table, fitting rooms, mirrors and lots of space to spread
out, make this an ideal location for your costuming projects.
You might be surprised at how much you can get done in a Friday
night when you have the space to lay your fabric out on our
64 inch-wide tables - the fabric won't be falling off the
edges of these. Even if you just rent the space to cut your
projects out think of how much easier this will make the challenge
of cutting large projects like period costumes. You can spread
your patterns and fabric out with room to spare. Parking just
out the back door and a safe neighborhood make this a safe
evening place to get your special projects done.
